Sometimes we only think of our Ys as gyms, pools and fitness centres. The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is a development centered organization. Sometimes the variety of community support we offer throughout our region even astounds us.

YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka Services and Support

  • We work with struggling teens to develop skills and personal action plans for a better life; We provide businesses and non-profit organizations with a variety of training, leadership and development programs;
  • We give families a chance to reconnect in an affordable environment, away from pressures of everyday life;
  • We counsel youth, and often the very young;
  • We help newcomers to Canada face the many challenges in settling and adapting to life here in our communities;
  • We work with you to help you find a job if you are unemployed;
  • We provide quality child care for families allowing them to pursue financial, educational and career goals;
  • And yes, we help to build healthier lifestyles through fitness programs and services. Those gyms, pools and fitness centres help keep us healthier and in turn keep our health care costs down!

The programs and services we provide are a vital, essential and necessary part of the communities we serve.
