Drop in Fitness Programs for Youth and Teens
YOUTH TRIATHLON CLUB (10-13 YRS) FREE FOR MEMBERS
A chance for 10-13 year old’s to ‘Tri a Triathlon’. The club will give children and youth an introduction and opportunity to train in all three sports: biking, running and swimming.
YOUTH NIGHT (13-17 YRS) FREE TO THE COMMUNITY
An opportunity for youth to come and hang out at the YMCA with friends. Try activities such as basketball, volleyball, board games or go for a swim! Youth ages 13 + will have free access to the Wellness Centre and Cardio Studio when they have completed the Wellness Orientation and obtained an access wristband.

Y GIRLS RUN (12-15 YRS) $ 15 for t-shirt
Learn to Run 5km, intro to cross-training, nutrition and the importance of finding balance in life.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP (GRADE 5-12) FREE FOR MEMBERS
The YMCA Youth Leadership program is an exciting, engaging program for youth grades 5 through 12. The program encourages youth to embrace and demonstrate the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, inclusiveness, respect and responsibility in everyday decisions and actions. Youth will gain team building, communication, problem solving skills and much more. Youth will learn the importance of civic engagement through fundraising and volunteer experiences. The program includes the opportunities to participate in local retreats, national and international exchanges.
YOUTH WELLNESS (10-12 YRS) FREE FOR MEMBERS
A course offering training in safety, proper form and Wellness Centre etiquette. If completed successfully, youth will be allowed access to fitness areas (as designated by their coach)
