$55,000 starting rate
-Maintain general ledger and financial statements
-Post journal entries
-Manage invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
-Manage job cost reporting systems (Cash flow, YTD job cost reports)
-Quarterly sales/quote performance reports
-Assist accountants with year-end processes
-Plan, develop, implement and evaluate HR policies and programs
-Advise management and employees on interpretation on personnel policies, benefit programs and employment standards
-Research and prepare job descriptions
-Administer benefit employment equity and other HR program
-Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes.
-Arrange staff training
-Ensure procedures are followed
-Carry out other duties as assigned (ie. assemble data, prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence)
-Greet people and direct them to contacts.
-Operate telephone system (screen, forward calls)
-Access and process information for clients & employees
Level of Education Required:
Completion of High School, College, Vocational or Technical Training
Preferably college graduate.
Level of Experience Required: 2-5 years
Skills or certification required:
-Computer software knowledge – Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel etc.)
-Intermediate knowledge in software – Simply
-Use of Internet, e-mail, electronic scheduler
-Understanding of blueprints & manufacturing processes
-Excellent Telephone manners, Good written and oral communication, Math skills
-Work well with others, Attention to detail
-Good problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making Job task planning and organizing
