COMMUNICATION COORDINATOR/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF WHITESTONE

MAIN FUNCTION: To Coordinate Communications Activities for
the Municipality as well as provide administrative support to
various municipal departments.

DUTIES INCLUDE: Municipal website administration; develop
content for Facebook and other Social Media platforms; take the
lead on Newsletters, E-newsletters, and Council communications;
move the Communications Strategy forward through continual
improvements; assist with miscellaneous duties related to tax
payments and general clerical.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a post-secondary
education in communications and business or related disciplines.
Minimum of two years’ experience in communications. Excellent
writing and verbal skills.
