Full job description

• Responsibilities:
  – Perform general custodial duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities
  – Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
  – Empty trash cans and replace liners
  – Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
  – Dust and wipe down surfaces
  – Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
  – Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and submit requests for replenishment as needed
  – Follow established safety protocols and use protective equipment when necessary

• Skills:
  – Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning
  – Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  – Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  – Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
  – Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment

Note: This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and skills required for the position of Custodian. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:  Parry Sound, ON P2A 1K5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:  Cleaning: 1 year (preferred), janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

Language:  English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:  Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
