BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for the prompt and efficient editing and processing of customer orders and
inquiries, communicating prices, corresponding with customers and representatives, expediting deliveries.
This position requires knowledge of the Full Range of company products and the exercise of considerable
judgment and independent action.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:
1.Analyses, edits and enters orders coming in via telephone, fax email or mail for accuracy and
completeness, checking such variables as model numbers, price discount and availability.
2.Receives and responds to inquiries from customers, sales agents or others regarding the full product
3.Communicates prices and terms of sales to agents and customers according to price lists, sales
programs and customer categories.
4.Fills requests for literature made by customers or sales agents.
5.Uses the computerized system to determine availability of product in response to inquiries from
customers or sales agents.
6.Interprets and answers questions and handles matters concerning warranties, return goods authorization
7.Confers with manufacturing and warehouse regarding delivery of products and component parts.
8.Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
College diploma or minimum 3 years customer service representative experience.
1.Strong Communication Skills (written, oral, electronic)
2.Prefer bilingual – French (written & oral)
3.Well developed interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels and functions
5.Strong Computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Inventory Management System)
6.Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Auto Cad would be beneficial
Start Date: ASAP
Job Status: Full Time
Salary: $17-$19 per hour
