We are looking for a Production Associate in Dome Manufacturing to join our team!
We are presently seeking a full time Production Associate who will be reporting to the Team Leader II (Supervisor), the Production Associate will set up and operate Optical Manufacturing Equipment, maintaining specifications outlined by the work instruction package.
Requirements/Key Competencies:
Ability to learn and excel in fine grinding, polishing and optical beveling operations
Ability to make, maintain and operate dome grinding and polishing tooling
Must be skilled in using the Metric system
Ability to understand and follow work instructions
Able to load annealing oven and thermal shock test equipment
Good visual acuity to spot imperfections in the parts or assemblies
Education and Technical Requirements:
Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma
Experience with visual inspection and manual dexterity
Working knowledge of gauges and comparators, and proper use of the equipment
Understanding of optical drawings, blueprints and interpretation
Optical Manufacturing experience an asset
Ability to learn all aspects of optical measuring equipment
Attention to detail with good organizational skills
