We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Railway Foreman to oversee and coordinate activities related to the maintenance and construction of railway infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead a team of skilled workers, ensuring adherence to safety standards, project timelines, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of maintenance and construction workers, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

2. Project Management: Manage project schedules, resources, and meet deadlines.

3. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.

4. Coordination: Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

5. Training: Provide training and guidance to workers, promoting skill development and teamwork.

6. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, material usage, and progress reports.

7. Problem-Solving: Identify and address any issues that arise during construction or maintenance operations.

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in the railway.
– Proven experience in railway maintenance, construction, or a related field.
– Strong leadership and communication skills.
– In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and practices in the railway industry.
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.

Working Conditions:

– Outdoor working environment, requires travel to various job sites for long periods of time.
– Physical labor and working in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00-$37.00 per hour
