Hamer Bay Marine is located at the north end of Lake Joseph and has been servicing the Muskoka and Parry Sound regions since the early 1930’s making high end service a top priority and adhering to our mission statement “No Aggravation Boating”. We participate in the Clean Marine Program, promoting environmentally responsible best management practices for marinas. We are a Suzuki dealer and continue to service Evinrude motors and operate an Evinrude online parts store to ensure our customers enjoy their boating experience. We are an authorized Volvo dealer and we also service MerCruiser. Hamer Bay Marine has teamed up to represent Bayview Boats, a Canadian and local manufacturing company that specializes in building aluminum high quality boats. In addition to offering boat rentals we have our Top Nosh Café, conveniently located upstairs here at the marina during July and August where we provide Muskoka’s favourite ice cream made by Kawartha Dairy.

We are currently looking for Gas Attendants/Boat Detailers to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Detail boats – Washing interior and/or exterior of boat including boat tops. Use of vacuum and pressure washer.
• Provide a detailed cleaning checklist to Service Manager
• Report minor repairs required to Service Manager i.e. boat top zippers/holes, ripped seat
• Refuel boats and check fluid levels – There is a mandatory requirement for the student to be 16 in order to refuel boats under the Technical Standards & Safety Authority Act.
• Receive payment from customers
• Maintain a proper fuel inventory record on a daily basis
• Maintain dock area and marina facility i.e. emptying garbage and recycling, maintaining a clean environment around the property and inside the showroom, watering outdoor garden/flowers

Contract length: 4 months
