Truck Driver/Yard Attendant

We are currently looking for Truck Driver/Yard Attendant to join our team.

You will be required to safely operate a truck to ensure proper boat transportation to and from the marina. Majority of deliveries will be within the Parry Sound – Muskoka District. Some deliveries or pick up may be required by water.

– Towing and launching boats in a safe and timely fashion
– Experience with hydraulic trailers and fork lifts is an asset
– Oversee handling of secure loads, including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, and compliance with the MTO
– Perform trip inspections on truck to ensure mechanical safety and emergency equipment is in good working order
– Communicate effectively and professionally with the public, customers and co-workers
– Must be able to work with minimal supervision; must be self directed
– Must be able to step up and down into truck, sit, kneel, reach, bend, and climb ladders to get into boats
– Read and write to ensure compliance paperwork is completed daily
– Work conditions: outdoor environments and various weather condition
– Weekend and overtime work may be required
– Valid drivers licence
– Class “A” drivers licence or Class “A Restricted” (preferred) with a clean record
– Pleasure Craft Operator Card with experience operating a boat or watercraft
