Cedarland Homes Ltd is a family owned business with three generations of experience and knowledge in the home building industry. We take great pride in the quality an workmanship in each of the homes and cottages we build. Cedarland employs a team of professionals to provide a high level of quality and service.

We are excited to add a Human Resources Intern to our growing team in Parry Sound, ON.

This opportunity is proudly supported by Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation and is funded through the Workforce Development Program. Eligibility requirements of the program can be found here:

The successful candidate will use their newly acquired knowledge from their college education, preferably a Business Administration/Human Resources graduate. to aid in hiring practices and the training and development of skilled trades in Northern Ontario. This position will involve:

– Researching federal and provincial grants

– Researching and scheduling training

– Participating in the employee review process

– Reviewing, updating, and adding company policies and procedures

– Evaluating OH&S practices both on site and in office

– Staying up to date on Trade Standards

– Human Resources Strategic Planning

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $25.00 per hour
