We are looking for two Industrial Mechanics (Millwrights) to join our winning team!
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment and systems within the plant, including the installation, removal and modification of machinery and systems when deemed necessary. Will be responsible for repair and maintenance of our many high precision CNC Mills, Lathes, Optical machines and miscellaneous equipment as required. The Millwright requires an ability to understand, utilize and communicate specific technical information verbally, in written text and via computer. Must have a valid Certificate of Qualification (Journeyman) as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A
We are looking for the following Education and Technical Requirements:
-Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent, preference given to candidates with completion of post-secondary education.
-Industrial Mechanic, Millwright – OR – Tool and Die Maker Certificate of Qualification required
-Preferred 3 years previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
-Ability to work overtime, and shiftwork as required
-Good communication skills both written and verbal

-Willingness and ability to follow instructions from Supervision/Group Leads.
-Must be able to work under limited supervision and follow detailed verbal/written instructions.
-Must have basic computer skills.
-Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
