IBW Surveyors success dates back to 1950 and over that time it has acquired over a dozen surveying firms from Toronto to Cornwall, all providing legal and engineering survey services throughout Ontario. Our vision of strategic and progressive growth has resulted in a team of employees using the best software and equipment the industry has to offer. We are currently looking to hire a Full Time Field Assistant for our Parry Sound office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a great team and further develop their career.

Responsibilities

• Set up field equipment and assist in the collection of survey data
• Follow directives received from Party Chief
• Assist Party Chief with finding legal survey evidence
• Preparation of field notes
• Uploading and downloading of the data collector daily
• Completing basic maintenance on field equipment

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically fit, able to lift heavy equipment, willing to work in varied environmental conditions
• High school diploma – minimum
• First Aid and Safety training courses are an asset
• Possess a valid Class G drivers license
• Good communication skills, reliable
• General computer knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
