Salary:  $30–$35 an hour

Job type:  Full-time

Shift & schedule:  Monday to Friday

Our firm is in the process of hiring a Lead Carpenter who will be responsible for assisting the Carpenter Supervisor with maintaining the company’s high standards of quality throughout all phases of construction projects. The Lead Carpenter will be responsible for monitoring the progress of construction on-site, overseeing subcontractor performance and managing the scheduling process.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints or other plans to ensure proper frame and interior layout.
• Order materials needed to build project.
• Maintain inventory of all materials used in construction and ensure timely replacement of stock as needed.
• Meeting project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Be prepared for emergency situations and contact building owners or staff with updates as needed.
• Be able to interact with coworkers and the public.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:  Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:  Parry Sound, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:  carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
