The Log Cabin is currently seeking Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. Applicable candidates must have the willingness to continue learning, work with great ethics, and must be keen on working as a team in a great positive environment. This is an opportunity to work with an amazing culinary team that delivers our promise to exceed our guest’s experience.

We pride ourselves on our use of fresh and local ingredients to complement our daily features and creations. Offering a variety of house made soups, stocks, sauces, breads, and desserts.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the Executive and Sous Chef in daily running of kitchen, food preparation, and line service

  • Food preparation, line service and catering
  • Perform open and closing duties
  • Maintain a clean, organized & safe work area including equipment
  • Preparation of soups, stocks, sauces & dressings
  • Bake breads & desserts
  • Vegetable preparation
  • Sauté, steam, pouch, roast & grill meats/fish products

  • Basic knowledge of safe and proper knife handling skills
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs,

  • Experience is an asset but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Internship, Casual, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
