Job Summary:
The Lot Attendant plays a crucial role in our dealership by ensuring that our vehicle inventory is well-maintained, organized, and presented to meet the high standards our customers expect. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including vehicle preparation, parking, and assisting with dealership operations. The Lot Attendant works closely with the sales and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the dealership’s new and used vehicle inventory, including washing, vacuuming, and fueling vehicles as needed.
• Lot Organization: Ensure that the lot is orderly and vehicles are properly parked, with a focus on maximizing visual appeal and accessibility.
• Vehicle Movement: Assist in moving vehicles around the lot, to and from service bays, and between the dealership’s locations as required.
• Customer Assistance: Greet customers and assist with vehicle delivery or pick-up as needed, ensuring a positive and professional interaction.
• Inspection: Conduct initial inspections of vehicles for damage or issues when the vehicles arrive from the factory and documenting findings.
• Support Sales Team: Assist sales and service personnel with vehicle-related tasks, such as retrieving vehicles for test drives.
• Inventory Management: Help with inventory checks and monitor the lot to ensure all vehicles are accounted for and properly displayed.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management to support dealership operations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License: Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards for vehicle presentation.
• Customer Service Skills: Friendly and professional demeanor, with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and take direction from supervisors.
• Time Management: Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
