Office Assistant Job Posting
The Gas Man Muskoka & Parry Sound is looking for an experienced Office Assistant to handle
daily administrative operations for the company. The ideal candidate will be hard working and
enthusiastic, willing to learn and able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
Responsibilities:
- Office Duties including answering phones, filing, ordering office supplies, etc.
- Booking appointments, maintaining parts and service database, ordering parts, updating price lists using our in-house booking system, as directed.
- Maintain trusting, professional and courteous relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
- Make and maintain bill payments
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Resolve office related glitches and respond to requests or issues
- Other office and receptionist duties as needed
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Post-Secondary education in related field an asset.
- Previous related experience preferred.
- Thorough understanding of office procedures and office equipment.
- Proficient with Word, Excel and Power Point
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical abilities and an aptitude in problem solving.
- Proficient or ready and willing to learn multiple computer programs and management systems.
Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Competitive rate of pay, $17.00 per hour depending on experience.
