Orthotic Technician

The Orthotic Technician is responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing of custom foot orthoses. The position requires good eye/hand coordination, excellent manual dexterity, and detail oriented and multitasking abilities. Duties include the cutting, gluing, grinding and shaping of materials used in the manufacturing of custom orthoses. The physical demands of the job require standing for the duration of the day, gripping, and grinding at a grinder, cutting with scissors, and occasionally requires the lifting/moving of up to 40 pounds.

We are willing to train. The successful candidate must be customer focused, quality oriented, adaptable, dependable, and dedicated to learn. Training to be an effective orthotic technician is a major investment for both employer and employee. It is, however, a very rewarding career where you know that your work is helping people stay healthy and active.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Secondary School (preferred)
