PANDEMIC SUPPORT AND SCREENER TEAM LEAD

Temporary Full-Time Position (August 2022 to approximately March 2023)

Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the incumbent is responsible for creating, adjusting and communicating the
schedule to the team and accurately entering data into the payroll system. The team lead also acts as a resource to
support screeners in understanding and implementing new workflows and infection control practices.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00, with some flexibility.
Basic Requirements:
• Successful completion of a Community College Diploma in a health services or related discipline;
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate positive relationships;
• Ability to adapt to continually changing priorities;
• Self-motivated with the ability to perform work assignments with minimal supervision and good judgment;
• Demonstrated professionalism, tact, and diplomacy in interactions with others;
• Ability to use conflict resolution skills when faced with adverse situations;
• Proven ability to adhere to safe work practices;
• An understanding of the Internal Responsibility System (OH&S Act);
• Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, performance levels, disciplinary history, and positive work
references;
• Ability to work in a manner that exemplifies the core values of the West Parry Sound Health Centre:
Compassion, Accountability, Rights and Responsibilities, Excellence, and Safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in customer service;
• Previous experience in a health care environment.
