Parry Sound Active Rehabilitation Inc. is a busy outpatient orthopedic clinic located in the heart of cottage country. Amidst a worldwide pandemic, many are leaving cities to relocate to smaller communities. Parry Sound is no exception. As such, we are currently looking to add a permanent full-time Physiotherapist to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting a high standard for the provision of quality clinical services within their professional scope of practice including assessment, intervention and documentation.
The successful candidate is a highly motivated individual who believes in client-centered care and demonstrates passion for improving the health and wellbeing of our small community. In addition, the successful candidate will work well as a collaborative team member to ensure the attainment of our organization objectives and promote the reputation of the facility in our community.
Qualified candidates must have a degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university and be a licensed and registered practitioner in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. New graduates are welcome to apply. The candidate will have strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strong manual therapy and exercise prescription skills are encouraged, and pelvic floor training and acupuncture will also be an asset.
This position offers a competitive compensation split and flexible hours.
