Production Associates

Panolam Surface Systems is seeking dependable, hard-working production associates for our Huntsville, ON facility. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production schedule is met on time, while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. Panolam seeks reliable, punctual, and team-oriented individuals with the ability to perform physical tasks and work in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Production Associates Duties and Responsibilities:

• · Work on the production floor with consistent speed and accuracy.
• · Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently.
• · Follow all procedures, work instructions for all product types
• · Must be able to identify materials, determine and verify quantities
• · Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
• · Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care
• · Report any machinery issues to management
• · Work cooperatively with the production team to meet goals
• · Maintain a clean and safe work area
• · Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• · Follow all written and verbal instructions
• · Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
• · Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends
• · Must be available for overtime
• · Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals
• · Basic math, reading, and writing skills
• · Basic computer skills
• · Good communication skills
• · Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines
• · Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching
• · Reliable and punctual
• · Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
