Full job description
Immediate opening for a Sales and Marketing Manager. Responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy, increase revenue, and enhance the brand presence of the resort. This role involves overseeing all aspects of sales, marketing, and promotional activities, while collaborating with various departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement effective sales strategies to attract new clients, including individuals, groups, and corporate accounts.
- Identify target markets and develop tailored approaches to reach them.
- Establish and maintain relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, wedding planners, major construction companies etc.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and email.
- Enhance the resort’s online presence by managing the website, social media accounts, and online reviews.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to refine marketing strategies.
- Plan and coordinate promotional events, special offers, and seasonal packages to boost occupancy and sales.
- Collaborate with the team to promote weddings, conferences, and other special occasions at the resort.
- Optimize pricing strategies and maximize profitability.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to adjust strategies and meet sales targets.
- Collaborate with the front office, reservations, and food and beverage departments to ensure consistent messaging and guest satisfaction.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the hospitality or resort industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics software a plus.
- Creative thinker with a results-driven approach.
Work Environment:
- This position is typically based on-site at the resort and may require flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on the needs of the business.
- Accommodation can be provided on-site, if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
