We are seeking a motivated, passionate, and results-driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Best Western Plus Parry Sound. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel sales, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, drive revenue, and work effectively within a team. Experience in branded hotels is preferred.

About the Hotel:
Located in scenic Parry Sound, our 93-room Best Western Plus features two meeting rooms and one boardroom, providing versatile spaces for a range of events. With comfortable accommodations and amenities like complimentary Wi-Fi, breakfast, and a fitness center, our property provides an ideal stay for both business and leisure travelers.

Job Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving hotel revenue through proactive sales efforts and relationship building. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue across corporate, group, and leisure markets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, corporate clients, and industry partners.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to client meetings, negotiations, and contract finalization.
  • Lead site tours, presentations, and client meetings to showcase the hotel’s amenities and services.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and corporate sales team to set and achieve revenue goals.
  • Ensure successful execution of group bookings and events, delivering outstanding service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends and performance data to adjust sales strategies and stay competitive.
  • Represent the hotel at community events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the property and build brand awareness.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and offers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a Sales Manager role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Experience with branded hotels is a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the hotel team to achieve shared goals.
  • Knowledge of the local Parry Sound market is preferred.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and CRM software.
