We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Automotive Dealership Sales Manager to lead our sales team and uphold our commitment to excellence.
Position Summary: As the Automotive Dealership Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading our sales team to achieve sales goals and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our dealership, creating a positive work environment, and ensuring that all operations adhere to Ontario’s equal opportunity guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of teamwork, motivation, and continuous improvement. Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including sales goals, incentives, and promotions, to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Customer Service: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by maintaining a professional and customer-centric atmosphere within the dealership.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory manager to ensure the availability of a diverse and attractive new and pre-owned inventory that meets customer needs and preferences.
- Training and Development: Conduct regular meetings for the sales team to improve their product knowledge and sales skills.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly with the team.
- Budget Management: Manage the sales department’s budget effectively, monitoring expenses and revenue to ensure financial targets are met.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports for dealership management regarding sales performance, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive sales management or automotive sales with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of automotive products, industry trends, and customer preferences.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using dealership software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
