Sharp Bus Lines is looking to add a dedicated, enthusiastic, and professional driver trainer to our team. Contribute to our unmatched safety record by training new drivers to become safe and professional school bus drivers in Simcoe County. If you are a natural born leader with experience in the school bus world and understand and school bus safety, we want to hear from you!
Our ideal candidate is:
- A strong communicator with exceptional leadership skills
- An innovative thinker who can hold the attention of audiences in an engaging and educating manner
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups of all sizes
- Reliable, with an impeccable attendance record
- Has already completed P.R.I.D.E. Certified Training (not a requirement) or those who have 3+ years school bus driving experience who are looking to advance their career.
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 3 years of School Bus Driving Experience (licensed with a B-class licence for at least 3 years)
- Knowledge of South Simcoe County area
- Have a clean driver’s abstract
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel is considered an asset
This position is part-time and will require home-to-school route driving, as well as availability over the Summer Break, March Break and PA Days.
