Job Title: Furniture Store Design Intern

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Furniture Store Design Intern. The intern will work closely with our design team to assist with the design and layout of our furniture showroom. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about interior design and wants to gain hands-on experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the design and layout of our furniture showroom
• Helping to select and place furniture and accessories in the showroom
• Assisting with visual merchandising and display setup
• Collaborating with the design team on projects and presentations
• Researching new and trendy design ideas and products
• Attend meetings with vendors and suppliers
• Any other duties as assigned
• Support the sales and merchandising team with greeting our guests and guiding them through the sales floor

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an Interior Design or related program
• Strong interest in furniture and interior design
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in design

This is a part-time, paid internship or position that we will help to ensure it can be used as a college or equivalent credit.

Internship duration: 3-6 months
