Swim Program Supervisor
The Municipality of Whitestone is seeking an individual to develop and have oversight of
a three (3) week summer swim program from July 3 to July 21 at the Whitestone
Waterfront Park
Swim program Supervisor expectations
• Oversee the Swim Lessons Program operations.
• Manage registrations and class rosters
• Maintain program quality.
• Manage communications with parents/guardians and swim instructor
• Schedule and confirm all lesson requests.
• Develop written program safety protocols and policy
• Assist in hiring the swim instructor
Experience
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Swim programming and swim lessons
• Experience with other Youth Lessons Programs (sports, school, art, etc.) or Teaching
is a plus!
Requirements
• CPR Certified
• Strong Customer Service Skills: This role will interact with parents, guardians and
children and we are seeking a person who is outgoing, friendly and personable, yet
decisive and firm when necessary.
• Strong administrative and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Friendly and customer service oriented
• Organized & Detail Oriented: Candidates must maintain swimmer safety at all times
while also fulfilling other responsibilities.
• Police Check satisfactory to the Municipality
