We know families are looking to the Y to support them this summer. We’ve modified our programs to ensure a safe and fun experience can be had for everyone.
This summer, your child will be happy and active at one of our 10 Summer Day Camp locations across Simcoe, Muskoka, and Parry Sound. The Y is working with public health to create a safe space for our children, their families, and our staff.
This year, we are offering Day Camp programs for children 4-12 years of age. Children aged 4-5 can register for Camp Explorers, and children aged 6-12 can register for Camp Trailblazers. Campers will enjoy a variety of fun and interactive programs that keep them engaged throughout the day. Activities will include sports and games, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities (depending on location and age of campers).

Central Park Arena is located on the same campus as the Collingwood YMCA and Collingwood Curling Club. Campers will spend the majority of their day outside and will access the YMCA for swimming use, if possible.
Gravenhurst Day Camp

The Gravenhurst YMCA is a community health, fitness, and aquatics centre featuring a swimming pool and gymnasium. The main day camp area is located west of the YMCA building and includes a sheltered area with picnic tables, a small field space, and access to nearby Gull Lake Park. Campers will spend the majority of their day outside and will access the YMCA for swimming use, if possible.
Innisfil Day Camp

Wasaga Lions Hall is located at the Wasaga Beach Rec Plex and YMCA. Day Camp will also make use of outdoor space behind the Rec Plex as well as the YMCA for swimming, if possible.
Inclusion Services: The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is committed to working with families to support campers with special needs, whether developmental, physical, cognitive, emotional or behavioural. When submitting your camp registration, please indicate if your camper will require additional support to participate in the camp day and a member of the YMCA staff team will connect with you to discuss inclusion supports.
Day Camp Refunds and Cancellations: Requests for refunds of paid camp fees must be made at least 14 days prior to the camp week commencing in order for a refund to be considered. Cancellation requests made less than 14 days prior to the camp week must have an attached medical note in order to obtain a refund.
Financial Assistance: The Children’s Services Division of the County of Simcoe, the District of Muskoka and the District of Parry Sound provides child care subsidies to eligible families. The YMCA has secured purchase of service agreements allowing children to attend YMCA Child Care and Day Camp programs with the aid of subsidies. In order to apply for the subsidies, parents/guardians must be working, attending school or fulfilling a participation agreement with Ontario Works.
