Become a YMCA Volunteer and Help Change Someone’s Life

It is with the support of volunteers that the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka has been able to deliver programs and services for over 170 years. At our Y, we know that volunteering has the power to enrich the lives of those in need and those who wish to give. Whether folding a towel or voting on strategy, each role reaps benefits that are economic, social and healthy, achieving skills development, advocacy and overall community strength.

Creating opportunities through partnership is another key aspect of our volunteer program. YMCA Child Care aspires to be a great place for students enrolled in Early Childhood Education to complete their student placement. Our educators mentor and share their experience and knowledge with their students in meaningful ways.
