Q: How can I donate?
A: Donations can be accepted at any of our YMCA locations at the front desk, online at www.givetothey.ca or by contacting the Philanthropy Office at 705-726-9622 ext.1450.

Q: When will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
A: Those who donate at a centre will receive a single tax receipt that represents the total amount the individual has donated to the YMCA during the calendar year. The receipt will be mailed in early February or each year. Online donations made throughout the year, are receipted at the time of transaction, and the receipt is sent to the email address used to make the donation.

Q: I did not receive my tax receipt; can I get it resent?
A: To receive a copy of a previously issued tax receipt, provide the full name, address and phone or email address to the Philanthropy office at givingback@sm.ymca.ca. The Philanthropy team will be in touch with the donor to reissue a copy of the receipt.

Q: How can a member or community supporter make a recurring gift?
A:  Recurring or monthly donations should be made through the online donation form at www.givetothey.ca. At this time, monthly donations cannot be set up in centre.
