Y Mind

Free Mental Wellness Program

If anxiety is impacting your life and preventing you from doing what you want or need to do, this group is for you. Y Mind is a free seven-week mental wellness program delivered online by trained local Social Workers from the region of Simcoe/Muskoka. Y Mind is for both teens and youth who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety to learn and practice evidence-based strategies to increase coping. Our teen program supports people ages 13-18, and our Youth program supports people ages 18-30. These groups are led by trained mental health professionals and gives teens and young adults the chance to connect with others who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings. Made possible through our funding partners.

Participants will receive:

  • A copy of the book, “The Happiness Trap” for use in the program
  • A two-month complimentary YMCA Health, Fitness & Aquatics Membership
