On behalf of the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka, I want to take this opportunity to wish you a joyous holiday season and a happy New Year. Thank you to our members, volunteers, staff and community partners for being a part of our Y family.
As 2019 comes to an end, I’m most grateful for the continued generosity of our Board of Directors, volunteers and dedicated staff who constantly strive to provide the very best programs and services for our community; our YMCA members who pitch in and help out in so many meaningful ways; and our community partners, who join us in contributing to building a healthier community for everyone.
This year and every year, our Y has welcomed thousands of people to participate in our programs. Whether you’re focused on improving your health and fitness, or need support with child care, employment or literacy – the Y continues to provide a diverse and socially inclusive place where everyone has the opportunity to get active, participate in community programs, or volunteer their time. Some of our biggest supporters have been members of the Y for over 50 years! The Y is their home, their family and where their friends are.
I want to sincerely thank you for your continued support. I hope you will take the time this holiday season and to be kind to yourself and to others. Best wishes for a safe holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year.
