Keeping It Balanced Bookkeeping Services

As a Member of the team, you will look after bookkeeping for our ongoing clients. You will be responsible for communicating with clients to gather information and paperwork as required to ensure their books are accurate and up-to-date. This will include, but is not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, WSB, HST, and source deduction, returns, calculations and filings.

Functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Maintaining accurate books for the clients assigned to you, including posting journal entries and ensuring that accounts are accurately in balance
• Processing all aspects of payroll including, but not limited to, ROE’s, T4’s and T4 summaries.

Education and Experience
• 2 or more years of experience in a Bookkeeping /Accounting position.
• Diploma in Bookkeeping, Accounting or Business or equivalent experience in accounting would be considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Proficiency using accounting and payroll software
• Strong attention to detail to delivery high quality and accurate work
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven time management skills, balancing competing priorities to deliver on time
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Sage 50 online and desktop knowledge is required
• QB bookkeeping software knowledge / proficiency
• Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word and Excel
