Parry Sound Cruise Line offers; sightseeing cruises of Georgian Bay, including restaurant cruises, afternoon cruises, dinner cruises, evening cruises and private charters.
Our organization is looking for a Deckhand to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on the vessel, assisting with navigation and safety operations, and helping to maintain the cleanliness of the ship. The ideal candidate should have experience working on boats, be comfortable working in all weather conditions, and have a strong understanding of maritime regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair deck equipment.
- Carry out routine maintenance on deck machinery and equipment.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo.
- Assist with the navigation of the vessel.
- Perform safety checks on deck equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties on deck.
- Assist with anchoring and mooring operations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
