Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to start a career in carpentry. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and gain valuable experience in various aspects of carpentry, including demolition, framing, drywall installation, painting, and site cleanup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demolition: Assist with the demolition and prepare sites for new construction.
  • Framing: Learn and assist with the construction of wood and metal framing for walls, floors, and roofs.
  • Drywall Installation: Help install drywall sheets, tape, mud, and sand joints to prepare surfaces for painting.
  • Painting: Assist with painting interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trim.
  • Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized worksite, including the removal of debris and proper storage of tools and materials.
  • On-the-Job Training: Participate in hands-on training under the guidance of experienced carpenters to develop your skills and knowledge in the trade.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to learn and develop carpentry skills through on-the-job training.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Safety Conscious: Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is beneficial.
