Group Power is finally here! Learn more about the class and meet your instructors that will be leading classes at the YMCA in Wasaga Beach.
Lisa has been with the YMCA for almost 15 years. She started at MyY Barrie as a member/volunteer/staff for 8 years then proceeded to Wasaga Beach as an Adult Fitness Supervisor for 7 years. Losing 110lbs and working with the Y has created a brand new healthy lifestyle for Lisa. Currently, she teaches a variety of classes from Step, Pump, Hi/Lo, Cardio Kick, Zumba, Aquafit, Yoga, Pilates, Stability Ball, Core, Spin, and now Group Power!

Kristi is a new arrival to Wasaga Beach having moved here from Colorado in July. She recently retired after 21 years in the US Air Force. With a lifelong passion for fitness, and experience as a teacher, she decided to embark on a new career in group fitness instructor.
Over the past year, she trained and became certified in Les Mills Body Pump as well as earned a certification as a Group Fitness Instructor from the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. Most recently, she completed Group Power training and can’t wait to get started teaching it at the YMCA! Kristi loves to run, hike, mountain bike, ski and generally spend time in the great outdoors.

Jason is always up for a challenge. Health and fitness have always been a big part of his life. He enjoys helping others realize their real strength and endurance when they are pushed past their comfort level. He believes physical fitness is as much a mental game as it is a physical one — sometimes you have to travel far to understand how far you can go.

Meet Bettina, a dedicated, enthusiastic and very experienced fitness professional, having taught on 3 continents with qualifications in aerobics, Step, Boxercise, Aquacise, Pilates, Urban Rebounding, Indoor Cycling, Zumba, TRX, and gym instruction. She’s also a Canfitpro Personal Training Specialist.
