YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka Contest Rules & Regulations

- HOW TO ENTER
No purchase necessary. To enter the contest, YMCA members must scan their membership card at time of entry to their local YMCA Health, Fitness & Aquatics facility. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. To be valid your entry must be received between 12:01am May 1st to 11:59pm EST on May 31st, 2024.
- ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to all active YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka Health, Fitness & Aquatics members who are legal residents of Ontario, age 18 or older. Contest is open to New and Existing active Members; membership cannot be on hold or cancelled within the month of May 2024 to qualify. For any entrant who has not reached the age of majority, parent or guardian consent is necessary to enter the Contest. Where appropriate, the terms “contestant” and “winner” mean parent or guardian of that person.
The contest is not open to directors and employees of the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka. This includes their immediate families, cohabitants, agents or contractors. The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion.
YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka decisions will be final.
- WINNER SELECTION
One winner will be randomly selected from each HFA location, and an additional winner will be randomly selected from all entrants. The 6 (six) winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries and contacted the week of Monday, June 3rd, 2024.
4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE
There are six (6) prizes to be won, consisting of:
One YMCA ‘Together, we Shine On’ hoodie in the winners preferred size (S-XXL).
- GENERAL RULES
5.1 This contest is null and void where prohibited by law. Any dispute regarding the organizing or conduct of this contest may be submitted to the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka at 1-7315 Yonge St, Innisfil, ON L9S 4V7.
5.2 YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is not responsible for computer system, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors, failures or delayed computer transactions or network connections that affect the contest or your participation in it.
5.3 YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who does not comply with the contest rules. If after awarding the contest prize, an entrant is disqualified or determined to be ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected using the same process described above. Alternate winners are subject to all contest rules.
5.4 The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged or refunded for an amount of money. No substitutions will be allowed. Any unused portion of a prize will be forfeited.
5.5 If the prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka reserves the right to substitute all or part of the prize with another of comparable value.
5.6 YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka reserves the right to amend the Contest rules or to terminate the contest at any time without liability to any entrant.
5.7 All personal information, such as name and email address, collected by the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka will be used solely for the purposes of administering the contest and shall not be used for any other purpose without your consent.
5.8 The winner shall sign a release declaring their eligibility as described in section 2 of these rules; agreeing that their name and image may be used for promotional purposes related to this contest and promotion of the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka free of charge; and releasing the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this Contest or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize.
