Volunteers Matter!

Volunteer with your local YMCA to make a difference in your community.

By: Jesse Ramson, Pool Deck Supervisor, MyY Wasaga Beach

On April 25, YMCA Wasaga Beach took the time to thank its numerous volunteers for all their hard work with an appreciation dinner. Recognizing almost 100 volunteers from the 900 who give back to YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka, the night was a huge success! With staff donating their time to help out with food and desserts, MyY Wasaga Beach volunteers enjoyed a few hours of celebration for all their hard work. The bond between YMCA employees and volunteers is remarkable, and is a relationship that continues to grow stronger.
