iCan Cancer Rehabilitation Program

The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka is proud to offer a community-based cancer rehabilitation program, in partnership with the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Program at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. Our team is committed to helping you become healthier and will create a customized program based on each individual’s needs and goals.

The YMCA iCan Cancer Rehabilitation Program helps you:

Restore physical function for day-to-day tasks
Support social and psychological well-being
Improve your health and quality of life

We are here to help individuals who have received treatment for cancer and those who have finished their active treatment. Talk to your care team if you have questions about participating in this exercise program.

This is a unique program that focuses on restoring and improving your physiological and psychological wellness after undergoing treatment for cancer.

The program is offered at the Innisfil YMCA at the cost of a monthly membership. A secondary membership is provided at no cost for the duration of the program for a caregiver or partner.

Financial assistance is available to eligible individuals to ensure everyone is able to join the program.
